Thomaï Serdari on Fine Arts & Luxury

As in old masters fine painting, contemporary artists are distinguishable by their affinity for color, aptitude in design, or even preoccupation with certain motifs. In fact, you might own a piece of contemporary art if you purchased a tie by Hermès recently.

French Heidi Mueller, Neo-Zealander Nickolus Clifford, and Americans Nina Chloe, Lilian Dooley and Ernesto Oroza are all artists who participated in the international design competition sponsored by the legendary French house Hermès. The 6,134 participants came from 96 countries. The first three prizes were awarded to the three aforementioned groups.
